
Notes
The thyroid has a conspicuously distinctive architecture consisting of numerous follicles of various sizes, lined by cuboidal epithelium and filled with colloidal thyroglobulin. Stroma is inconspicuous at this magnification. (The small, round, pale spots are artefactual bubbles in the colloid.)
