Dr. Thompson

Dr. Thompson is chief physician for Nottoway Correctional Center, a 1,400-bed facility in Burkeville, Va., and acting Chief of Physicians for 56 Virginia Department of Corrections institutions.

During his career he has been director of Pembroke Medical Center in Pembroke, Illinois; director of Discharge and Aftercare at Bolliver Mental Health Center in Bolliver, Tenn.; in private practice as a family physician for three years; medical examiner/medical director of three Heritage Hall Nursing Centers. He is a friend to the college community and has assisted students in reaching their goal of attending college.
