The Comptroller’s Office has sent each department a spread sheet that summarizes the awards potentially earned by faculty in FY2009 as of March 31, 2009, along with Participation forms and instructions for FY2009 and FY2010. This information is provided to allow departmental planning. However Chairs and business managers should recognize that amounts due to individual faculty may vary substantially from year to year and within years as grants are funded or end. As indicated in the process attachment, the Comptroller’s Office will provide the final information to departments as soon as feasible after the close of the fiscal year.

Therefore, we welcome any suggestions for improving the process, as these may be implemented in the future as we fine-tune the program.
