Frank J. Toth Research Award

FY 2012 Call for Nominations

Final application deadline for Application: March 1, 2012 at 4:00 pm.

This date and time are FIRM. Late applications absolutely will not be accepted.

This award has been established to honor the memory of Frank J. Toth, who worked for many years as a chemist for the federal Environmental Protection Agency. His work and life in support of health-related science and research inspired the establishment of this award to recognize the contributions of those personnel (non-faculty) whose work supports the research mission of the SIU School of Medicine.

The Research Funding Allocation Committee (RFAC) invites letters of nomination and support from supervisors and co-workers of SIU School of Medicine research support personnel who do not hold a faculty rank or title. This award will consist of a plaque and a monetary travel award to assist the recipient in attending a professional meeting or continuing education event or in receiving other training related to their job responsibilities as approved by the award recipient’s supervisor. The recipient will be recognized at the Employee Recognition Luncheon on April 16, 2012.

Nomination and support letters should be sent to Carol Conover, Office Administrator, Center for Clinical Research, SIU School of Medicine, 801 N. Rutledge, P.O. Box 19664, Springfield, Illinois 62794-9664.
