Research Interests: Adult lower extremity reconstructive surgery, including osteochondral, large segment, and soft tissue allograft surgery, revision arthroplasty surgery.
Musculoskeletal oncology.
DVT prophylaxis after total joint replacement.
Undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
Wear of orthopaedic implants, including systemic release of wear debris.
Development of novel nanocoatings to reduce in vivo wear of orthopaedic implants.
Techniques and Methodologies: Clinical follow-up research.
Trace metal analysis using high resolution ICP-mass spectrometry, cell culture, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, standard molecular biology techniques.
