NIH/NIDCD Coding in Auditory Neurons: Effects of Amino
Acids
The objectives of this project are to determine how
inhibitory amino acids function within known brainstem
auditory circuits to encode acoustic information,
and the impact of aging on inhibitory amino acid neurotransmission
in the auditory brainstem.
Role: Co-Investigator
R01 DC00151 Rybak (PI) 4/1/99 - 3/31/04
NIH/NIDCD Endogenous Modulation of Cisplatin Ototoxicity
The objectives of this project are to determine the
impact of endogenous antioxidants upon ototoxicity
in the cochlea.
Role: Co-Investigator
R01 NS-40220 Toth (PI) 5/1/02 - 4/30/07
NIH Influenza induced changes in Somnolence
The objectives of this project are to identify the
gene(s) that effect influenza induced changes in the
pattern of sleep in genetically inbred strains of
mice.
Role: Co-Investigator
