Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (SIUSOM) relies on the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program (CITI) to host SCRIHS Human Subject Protections training. Successful completion of Human Subject Protections training is required before research personnel can engage in research activities that are overseen by SCRIHS.

Once training is completed, it is valid for three years. To renew Human Subject Protections training, users will be required to retake the CITI Human Subject Protections course.
