Dear Alumni,

This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce myself as we roll out our updated Alumni web pages.  I am succeeding John Record, who has served as Director of Alumni Affairs for over 23 years.  I joined the Office of Alumni Affairs on March 3, 2008 and will be working closely with John as he prepares to retire June 30.  I was born and raised in Springfield and have two children.  My husband, Randy, is also employed by the School of Medicine in the Division of Statistics and Research Consulting.  I worked closely with the second year medical students and many faculty throughout the school in the Department of Medical Education from 1991-1998.  In 1998 I joined the Department of Family & Community Medicine and served as the predoctoral education coordinator, specifically working with the clerkship and elective years and many preceptors and faculty.  I am excited to be your representative within the School of Medicine and look forward to meeting you or renewing our acquaintance soon.
