The 4th Annual Minority Alumni Caucus
Fellow Alumni:
The Minority Alumni Caucus (MAC) was started four years ago by the Office of Diversity, Multicultural and Minority Affairs with the mission of reconnecting with minority alums. Our office has developed and continues to implement programs for all matriculants, but especially the minority student population.
Underrepresented minority students want and need mentors, role models and physician support as they go through the rigors of a four year medical education. The Minority Alumni Caucus has been created as a vehicle to receive input from minority alums on programs already established, to explore the development of new initiatives, and to encourage broad-based involvement in the lives of minority students on the School of Medicine campus. Our desire is to create an environment for networking, mentoring and enjoying the fellowship of one another’s company as the weekend unfolds.
Please join us for the 4th Annual Minority Alumni Caucus on June 6-7, 2008. More detailed information and a map that shows the locations of our scheduled events is available in the pdf file Schedule of Events.
