Alumni Class Giving Competition
For nearly 40 years, alumni have returned to SIU School of Medicine to reunite with fellow graduates and beloved faculty members and reminisce about the early days of their journey to become well prepared physicians. Each year, School of Medicine graduates renew the longstanding traditions of giving back in honor of their class reunions.
This is our year! We hope that you will help us carry on the tradition that began many years ago and make a special gift to support our own competitive class gift campaign. In celebration of our reunion, let’s collectively make an impact on the place that gave us our start by investing in the next generation of physicians.
Any gift to the School of Medicine between April 1 – December 31 will count towards our campaign. You can choose to support scholarships, the Student Resource Fund, the Sergio Rabinovich Endowment in support of residents, the Dean’s Fund for Excellence, or so many other wonderful programs that are making SIU School of Medicine and the communities that we serve healthier!
Let the games begin!
The Dean’s Cup will be awarded by Dr. Kevin Dorsey to the reunion class with the greatest participation in class gifts. Each year’s winning reunion class will be added to the cup which will be displayed in the Dean’s Lobby on the Springfield campus throughout the year.
We believe that SIU School of Medicine is an innovator in medical education and will always be a part of our lives.
