Patient Centered
In the event of a diagnosis of breast cancer, patients can meet with all the necessary specialists on the same day rather than going from office to office and appointment to appointment. Instead of worrying and waiting, patients can quickly determine their health status and begin proactively planning their treatment.
Comprehensive
Another unique aspect of the Breast Center is its commitment to providing a full range of care for patients. A nurse practitioner and licenced social worker guide patients through the whole process - from the first appointment to securing the necessary follow up.
Multidisciplinary
The Breast Center is unique because of its multidisciplinary, team approach. This collaborative effort ensures patients that their diagnoses and treatment plans are based on the opinions of several physicians, not just one.
Research Based
In addition, many of the center's physicians participate in cancer research, which means the newest, most advanced methods of detecting cancer are used.
