The mission is to provide breast care to women in Springfield and central and southern Illinois that is patient centered, comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and research based. The Center's interdisciplinary breast cancer care includes the development of adherence to critical pathways for diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance; team presentation of all treatment options; consensus treatment planning; and treatment approaches guided by evidence based medicine.
