Who Can USE TPF Services?

Members of the SimmonsCooper Cancer Institute at SIU and researchers who have NIH funding have top priority for using our services. However, all SIU researchers, as well as those from outside institutions, can request tissue from the TPF for valid research purposes. Tissue obtained from the TPF may not be distributed to third parties.

The TPF technologist will work with each investigator to maximize the value of the tissue for a particular scientific study.
