5th Biennial Southern Illinois Neuroscience Retreat
September 10-11, 2010 Collinsville IL
Our 5th Biennial Retreat was held September 10-11, 2010 in Collinsville Illinois at the DoubleTree. Over 60 students, faculty and staff from the campuses of Southern Illinois University and the University of Illinois attended the event. A wide variety of exciting research was presented through short talks and posters. A meeting culminated in a special lecture by Dr. Rhanor Gillette of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, who described his work using the invertebrate Pleurobranchaea california to study basic circuitry for decision-making.
