Community Health Policy Committee

The Community Health Policy Committee (CHPC) develops, recommends, and/or advises regarding policy, guidelines, practice, and objectives relevant to community service at SIU School of Medicine. The CHPC provides input and counsel to other School units responsible for community service activities and projects. The CHPC works with community leaders and organizations in assessing and addressing the community's needs for community service programs.

The mission of the Community Health Policy Committee is to provide leadership and coordination in engaging our communities to improve health and well being through citizenship, service, education, research and advocacy.
