To log in to WebCT, please click the above link. Once there, enter in your username (WebCT ID) and password as described below:

SOM Faculty/staff:
As default, your username AND password are BOTH som_ (underscore _), followed by your School of Medicine I.D. number which can be located on the back of your badge, excluding leading zeroes.
(example for John Doe with SOM I.D. number 00123450: som_123450 for BOTH WebCT ID AND password)

Springfield, Decatur, and Carbondale physcian residents:
As default, your username AND password are BOTH som_ (underscore _), followed by your first initial and last name.
(example for John Doe: som_jdoe for BOTH WebCT ID AND password)

Quincy physcian residents:
As default, your username AND password are BOTH som_ (underscore _), followed by the 8 digit number previously assigned to you.
(example for John Doe with assigned 8 digit number of 12345678: som_12345678 for BOTH WebCT ID AND password)

After logging in, please click the "SOMHCCT" link to enter the School of Medicine Health Care Compliance Training Website. Once on the SOMHCCT Welcome Page, please click the icon entitled "Compliance Training". This will bring up the Table of Contents.

From the Table of Contents page, please read through the three sections, taking note of the entry code (quiz password) that will be found AT THE END OF ONE OF THE PAGES in big, bold letters.

After reading all three sections, please click "Compliance Manual QUIZ" (it will be found at the bottom of the Table of Contents in the left hand column of the screen). When prompted to enter the entry code for the quiz, please use the password that was mentioned in the Compliance Manual. This will allow you access in to take the quiz. Without this entry code, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE REQUIRED QUIZ! Also, make sure to click SAVE ANSWER for every question, otherwise your quiz may not be graded correctly!

For those of you needing to ALSO taking the TEACHING PHYSICIANS GUIDELINES QUIZ, there will be an additional button labeled "Teaching Physicians" on the Welcome page. Please follow through with this in the same manner you did for the Compliance Training (read the sections, make note of the quiz entry code, and take the quiz).

For those of you wishing to take the OPTIONAL Consultation Quiz, please click that button, read the listed sections, and complete the quiz. As this is an OPTIONAL quiz, there is no quiz entry code needed to access the quiz!
