Our Mission: To Train Outstanding Family Physicians
We accomplish this in an atmosphere of mutual trust and cooperation in our unopposed community based program. This means your education on each rotation will be first-hand with your preceptor(s) without having to compete for instruction with other residents from other specialties! The end results are competent, caring physicians prepared to practice in any area they choose - urban, suburban, rural, or even in a foreign country.
We are a 15 resident program with five year accreditation status! We have six full time and one part time physician faculty, two full time physician assistants, and one part time behavioral science faculty. The program is blessed with community wide physician support - an educational benefit not enjoyed by many residency programs!
NCQA is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to assessing and reporting on the quality of managed care plans, managed behavioral healthcare organizations, preferred provider organizations, new health plans, physician organizations, credentials verification organizations, disease management programs and other health-related programs.
