Joel is a Physician Assistant. He earned his Physician Assistant degree at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in Carbondale. In addition, Joel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois and has two graduate degrees from overseas institutions in England and Israel. Joel spent a year living in Decatur while finishing his clinical rotations. While here, he was active in community service, creating a free door-to-door preventative health service for local residents. In addition, he spent time coaching youth soccer and basketball at the Decatur YMCA.

Laura is a Physician Assistant. She earned her Physician Assistant degree at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in Carbondale. Prior to joining our practice she worked as a Physician Assistant and Clinical Assistant Professor at the SIU Carbondale Family Medicine Residency Program from 2005-2008. She also has one year experience as a Physician Assistant in the Decatur Memorial Hospital Emergency Care Center.
