    About me

    Hometown: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
Academic interests: Simulation and pediatric procedures
What you enjoy most about the program: I believe what sets SIU Emergency Medicine apart is the people. The faculty is genuinely interested in the residents' education and well-being, creating a proper family-oriented environment. As a result, our program is well-rounded, and the residents have legitimate educational input. I particularly like our education days. Specifically, the way we arrange lectures and hands-on experiences such as procedures and simulations to break up the day.
Favorite things to do in Springfield: I enjoy walking in the park with my kids and taking the Amtrak for weekend trips to St Louis or Chicago.
