DESCRIPTION
While Managed Care has not yet had a significant influence on health care delivery in central Illinois, we are seeing the beginnings of the development of more widespread Managed Care systems, and will inevitably be affected by the national trend toward Managed Care.

This conference will examine the changes to health care delivery being brought about by Managed Care, focusing on questions such as:
What is Managed Care, and how is it different from traditional health care delivery?
How will Managed Care affect central Illinois?
How will Managed Care change health care practice?
How will Managed Care affect Liability and Malpractice standards?

The goal of the conference is to help health care providers understand Managed Care systems, and to be aware of the significant changes to the delivery of health care which the shift to Managed Care represents.

TARGET AUDIENCE
All health care providers, administrators, and allied health staff who might be affected by changes brought about by a shift toward Managed Care.
