The reception follows the day-long Annual Memory Loss Conference for health care professionals.
This one-day event aims to provide primary providers, advanced practice providers and residents in training with a concise
review of the latest updates in the diagnosis, expected work-up and indications for contemporary percutaneous (nonsurgical)
management of structural heart conditions including severe aortic stenosis, presence of patent foramen ovale, severe mitral
valve stenosis/regurgitation and stroke-risk reduction nonvalvular atrial fibrillation, with an ultimate aim to improve outpatient
This fourth annual symposium will examine the latest areas of research in diagnostic error and improvement, as well as the impact Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) programs can have on patients, families and providers, including reduction in opioid use. Breakout simulation sessions will be part of the day’s activities, as well as group activities and poster presentations on a wide variety of topics in patient safety and quality improvement.

This all day conference will focus on labor and sex trafficking training for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, administrators, social workers,
and others involved in any health care setting. National and regional speakers will provide education regarding trauma-informed care, working with law
enforcement and the FBI, the medical exam, and developing institutional protocols. Survivors will speak about experiences and recommend
