Photographic Services  James Hawker, Photographer 217/545-6419 PO Box 19632 Springfield, IL 62974-9632 Jim has been a professional photographer for 40 years. He has extensive experience in the fields of industry, education and medicine. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois where he studied photography with Art Sinsabaugh and design with Carl Regehr. He has done post-graduate work with Nathan Lyons at the George Eastman House and Clarissa Sligh at the Visual Studies Workshop at the State University of New York. He has done several one man exhibits. His photographs are included in numerous public and private collections, including the Illinois State Museum, the State of Illinois Center in Chicago, the University of Wisconsin, Monmouth College and city collections throughout the United States. He has published 10 limited edition portfolios and two handmade books. His work also has been reproduced in national and international publications, including Time, Newsweek, Discover, Wired, Science News Library, and newspapers, including The New York Times, and The Guardian. Many medical textbooks also have published his work. |
