About

Yoon Choi, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.  She is a neuro-oncologist with special interest in primary brain tumors, CNS metastasis, neurological complications related to systemic malignancies or treatments, and Electromyography.

Dr. Choi earned her medical degree at Korea University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea. She completed her Neurology residency at University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois and then her Fellowship and advanced training in Clinical Neurophysiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and Neuro-Oncology at University of California Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Choi is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties.
