Another example is a family whose last name was Campanella. The first generation born in the United States yielded a few popular actors (Joseph and Frank). Joseph said in an interview that one of his brothers had just had a daughter. The family could trace back 13 generations in the US and Italy and even though there were some large families, his niece was the first girl born in the family in 13 generations.
