The SIU Department of Family and Community Medicine is a group of people, spread across the southwestern half of the State of Illinois, united by a common vision and passion for the health of the people we serve. Faculty members and community teaching physicians in our department have common goals of providing excellent medical care and improving the health status of the people of Illinois through educational and research programs.
