Behavioral Health Services for Children & Adults
At SIU Center for Family Medicine, we offer individual and family therapy, group therapy and child and adolescent psychiatric services.
SIU is committed to your overall health and will work to support and guide you through your treatment. Services will be coordinated with your primary care physician to encourage and promote the best care for you and your family.
Individual and Family Therapy
Our licensed therapists provide therapy to children and their families who are patients of SIU Center for Family Medicine. Sessions are focused on the needs of the patient.
Treatment includes but is not limited to: depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, self esteem, behavioral problems, divorce, blended families, etc.
Group therapy experiences for all ages are offered Monday through Friday. Facilitators are licensed therapists and offer a variety of topics. You do not have to be an established patient of SIU Center for Family Medicine to participate in group therapy. Topics include, but are not limited to: social skills, ADHD, and parenting skills.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services
Children who are established patients of SIU Center for Family Medicine can be seen in the Behavioral Health Department by a boardcertified child/adolescent psychiatrist.
SIU behavioral health services are covered by a variety of insurance plans. Our billing department can assist you in verifying your coverage.
