The providers in the Division of Cardiology at SIU Medicine offers comprehensive consultative care for patients with cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient and inpatient. Such conditions could be indicated by symptoms such as shortness of breath, dizziness, or chest pain. Once a diagnosis is made, our providers work to establish a treatment care plan in coordination with the primary care provider with the goal for all patients to maintain a full and active lifestyle. We also help to offer guidance on the risks and prevention of many heart conditions, including heart failure, heart disease, and heart attack and stroke prevention.
