Installing McAfee Security for Mac v 1.1

• Download the McAfeeSecurity1.1_Mac.dmg file to your computer desktop.
• Double-click the McAfeeSecurity1.1_Mac.dmg file to expand and open it.
• Double-click the McAfee Security for Mac-Anti-malware-1.1-RTW-1309.mpkg file to start the installer.
• Follow the instructions to install.

Updating VirusScan Virus Definition Files

McAfee Security v 1.1 by default is set to Automatically check for updates. If you are using a laptop and don't always have an internet connection it is a good idea to manually run the eUpdate at least once a week.

• Launch VirusScan from your Applications folder
• Click the Update Now link in the left control panel area.
• Click the Start Update button.
