I-Share is a shared catalog of the holdings of 70 Illinois academic libraries and the Illinois State Library, and is operated by the Illinois Library Computer Systems Organization (ILCSO). I-Share is web based and allows the searching of our library holdings as well as those of the other 69 libraries.
I-Share contains all book, audiovisual, software and journal holdings of the SIU Medical Library. The catalog can be searched either through the Quick Search menu or the Guided Keyword menu. Within each menu there are additional options, such as author, title, keyword, subject heading, journal title, call number and boolean operators, to choose from to make the search more specific and efficient.
