- Learn how to use EndNote to search and download citations from PubMed, ILLINET, and Web of Science. In addition the class will cover importing citations from databases, producing bibliographies and using the EndNote plugin in Word while writing papers.

- Oracle Calendar
- Oracle Calendar class provides instruction on how to set preferences, enter information into a personal agenda and how to keep track of tasks. Setting up access rights to manage another person's calendar as a designate and the variety of print formats and features are also reviewed.

- This session will review the basics of setting up slides for onscreen, 35 mm and paper presentations.

- Advanced Enhancements Powerpoint 2003
- The PowerPoint 2003 Advanced Enhancements class is an advanced powerpoint class and beyond. Along with movies and sounds, new presentation features and custom animation incorporate the content of this class. Students create a presentation during the class and critique the presentation using a self-evaluation form.

- This class covers designing posters, applying templates, and converting to pdf files. Students create sample posters during the class and critique the posters using a self-evaluation form.

- PubMed MEDLINE
- Learn how to search more effectively for journal articles in PubMed. MeSH (Medical Subject Headings), limits, subheadings, LinkOut to full text and saved searches are included in this class.

- Microsoft EXCEL: Basics
- This class covers data entry, cell selection, formatting, copy, paste, save, sort and print functions. Most importantly, formula entry is performed.

- This session expands on the Basics by providing instruction on how to create charts and graphs, linking worksheets and programs, setting manual page breaks and printing.

- Macromedia Dreamweaver I
- Learn the basics of creating web pages.This course includes creating links, adding images, tables, and correct page structure.

- This course includes setting up Dreamweaver to FTP your pages to the server as well as adding image rollovers, jump menus, creating library items and templates, and other advanced features.

- This class covers basic web form design including radio buttons, check boxes, text boxes and jump menus. Students will also learn to modify and use a script file that works with the HTML file to make the form function properly.

- Macromedia Dreamweaver Styles
- Style sheets are collections of rules that define the styles of a document and offer more control over type than standard HTML. The newest versions of HTML and XHTML do not support font tags, so using style sheets is highly recommended. Dreamweaver lets you create styles that can be embedded in an HTML document or saved as a separate style sheet that can be used for multiple documents.

- Web Page Accessibility
- Hands on class reviews ways to make pages more accessible to those with disabilities. It includes changes that can be done using the Dreamweaver interface as well as changes that need to be done by hand. People need to be familiar with the basics of using Dreamweaver (Dreamweaver I) before enrolling in this class.

- Fireworks is a graphics program that is particularly good for preparing graphics for web pages. Learn to create buttons, text gifs, rollover images and other graphics for your web pages.

Word Processing
- Microsoft Word
- A review of the basic functions of a word processing program. Functions covered include saving documents, page setup, formatting and editing functions, setting tabs and indentation, tables and columns.
- Word Basics Handout
- Microsoft WORD Mail Merge
- How to create a database of variable data and to merge this information into a primary document. Included is the printing of merged letters and the use of this function to create mailing labels.
