Medical Humanities Curriculum

Throughout the second year of SIU's medical school curricula, faculty in the Department of Medical Humanities serve as a resource for Physician Attitudes and Conduct (PAC) curriculum. PAC humanities seminars and small group discussions center around legal, ethical, and policy issues. The Population Health curriculum offered to students during Year 2 provides an introduction to the core disciplines they will later utilize to coordinate clinical medicine with public health.
