THE CURRICULUM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL HUMANITIES

The faculty of the Department of Medical Humanities at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine is committed to the undergraduate teaching of medical students by offering medical humanities learning experiences during all four years of the medical school curriculum. These learning experiences are designed to enhance student understanding of the manner in which the humanities bear upon and apply to the practice of medicine.
