Academic Interests

After 16 years in private practice, Dr Kapitan returned to academic medicine in 2005 to focus on teaching. He is also interested in studying the fluid mechanics of airflow in the lung.

 
Clinical Interests

Dr Kapitan is interested in all areas of adult pulmonary medicine, and particularly in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
