
Chandhiran Rangaswamy, M.D. is a cardiologist in the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Internal Medicine for Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and SIU Physicians & Surgeons. Dr. Rangaswamy also has a practice at Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants. Dr. Rangaswamy received his bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Speed Scientific School at the University of Louisville in Kentucky and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Educational Foundation in Ohio. He then completed fellowships in both clinical cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. Dr. Rangaswamy is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in medicine. He is an Affiliate-in-Training of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians. Dr. Rangaswamy offers a full range of cardiology services to patients. These services include diagnostic studies, exercise studies, echocardiography, cardiac pacing, the diagnosis and management of lipid disorders and preventive cardiology.
