Marina K. Russo, MD is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and SIU Physicians & Surgeons.

Dr. Russo earned her medical degree from Rostov State medical School in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. She completed her residency in internal medicine at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio and then a fellowship program in endocrinology, metabolism and molecular biology at Southern Illinois University in Springfield. Most recently, Dr. Russo was an endocrinologist with the Christie Clinic Association in Champaign, Illinois.

Dr. Russo is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She is a member of the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

Dr. Russo specializes in the diagnosis and management of diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, parathyroid, pituitary and adrenal conditions.
