Raj Sreedhar, MD, is an assistant professor with the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and SIU Physicians & Surgeons.

Dr. Sreedhar earned his medicine degree from Bangalore University in Bangalore, India. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and one of his fellowships in Pulmonary Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He went on to finish a second fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Sreedhar is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He is also certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine in Sleep Medicine. He is an associate member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Physicians and the American Thoracic Society. He has also been inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society for his excellence in education, research and health care delivery.

Dr. Sreedhar sees patients on the Lower Level of the SIU Clinics Building located at 751 North Rutledge Street in Springfield, Illinois. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various forms of Pulmonary and Sleep disorders. He also treats patients in the Intensive Care Units at Memorial Medical Center and St. John’s Hospital here in Springfeld, Illinois.
