| Dr.
Stone is past Editor-in-Chief of Dialogues in Dermatology, a monthly
audio journal published by the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also
on the Editorial Boards of Clinics in Dermatology, (and Section
Editor of the Comment and Controversy section in that journal),
and Derm Coding Consult. He has published more than 35 articles
and book chapters, and has served as investigator or subinvestigator on
more than 20 pharmaceutical studies and drug trials, most dealing with psoriasis.
Dr. Stone was elected the 67th president of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and AAD Association (AADA) and held that office from March 2006 through February 2007. Dr. Stone has been elected to the American Dermatologic Association, and is a long time member and past president of both the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society and the Illinois Dermatological Society. Dr. Stone has given more than 120 lectures and Grand Rounds presentations outside of SIU, including such international venues as Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an and Guangzhu, China, the Icelandic Dermatology Association, in Reykjavik, Iceland, the Congresso da Sociedade Brasileira Dermatologia, in Curitiba, Brazil, the Philippine Dermatological Society Annual Meeting in Manila, Republic of the Philippines, the Canadian Dermatological Association, and most recently at Dermatrends III in Chiang Mai Thailand. |
