Faculty Position
The Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Molecular Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, Illinois, seeks candidates for an Assistant/Associate Professor faculty position on the non-tenure track. This full-time position involves participation in patient care, teaching and research activities. Successful candidate will be involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Research opportunities based on the individual’s interests are available. This position has been designated as security sensitive and employment is contingent upon the results of a background investigation. Production based clinical compensation offers salary competitive with private practice. Comprehensive benefit package includes pension programs and professional liability coverage. Southern Illinois University School of Medicine is located in Springfield, Illinois only a few hours drive from major cities such as Chicago and St. Louis.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of accredited medical school program; Board certified in Internal Medicine; Board certified/Board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, licensure in State of Illinois or eligible for such.
