Dr. Romaisa Firdose was born and raised in Hyderabad, India. She graduated from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at SIU in 2003 and joined the faculty shortly thereafter. She presently serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. She has an interest in
resident education and participated in a Faculty Development Fellowship
at University of Southern California in 2004-2005. She organizes the
ambulatory care conferences for the residents. Her clinical interests
include obesity management and nutrition. She is Medical Director
of the Comprehensive Obesity Management Program at SIU and the Clinical
Nutrition Support at St. John’s Hospital. Additionally, she
maintains her general internal medicine practice and is accepting
new patients. |
