ALCOHOL

Alcohol use is a problem if:

  • You feel the need to cut down
  • You become annoyed when criticized about drinking
  • You feel guilty about drinking
  • You need an eye opener in the morning

 

  • Alcohol use causes fatal and nonfatal injuries and accidents, especially motor vehicle accidents. Never drink and drive or operate machinery or vehicles such as boats.
  • Drinking during recreational swimming outings causes many drowning accidents.
  • Excessive drinking damages your liver and brain.
  • Drinking three or more alcoholic beverages per day can be unhealthy.
