Recommendations for vaccinations are individualized based on each traveler's age, medical history, past immunizations and specific travel plans. We utilize state-of-the-art software that allows us to provide the most current recommendations.

The SIU International Travel/Immunizations Clinic has been designated an official yellow fever vaccination center by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In addition to providing vaccinations, we offer the following information and medication to prevent

• malaria
• traveler's diarrhea
• motion sickness
• precautions related to insects
• precautions for immuno-compromised travelers
• precautions for pregnant travelers
• risks related to water, food, diseases and environmental conditions, and other potential complications
