INNOVATION PROJECT
HONORS FOR
THE WORK OF EIP MEMBERS
Despite its short history, several members of the EIP committees have received honors for their work in educational innovation. During October of 2006, Dr Andrew Varney, MD and Dr. Maureen Francis, MD presented a workshop at the AAIM meeting on the SIU resident QI Projects. Representing the SIU EIP at the ACGME national meeting in March, in Orlando, Florida, was Dr. Christine Todd, MD. She presented FIT (Focused Inpatient Training) Week in a workshop. Dr. Susan Hingle, MD is presenting a poster at the April meeting of the APDIM meeting in San Diego, California. Dr. Christine Todd, MD and Dr. Varney, MD are presenting a workshop on Morning Report at the same April APDIM meeting. Watch this section! There will be more to come.
