Travel Services
Recommendations for vaccinations are individualized based on each traveler's age, medical history, past immunizations and specific travel plans. We utilize state-of-the-art software that allows us to provide the most current recommendations.
The SIU International Travel/Immunizations Clinic has been designated an official yellow fever vaccination center by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In addition to providing vaccinations, we offer information and medication to prevent:
- malaria
- traveler's diarrhea
- motion sickness
- precautions related to insects
- precautions for immuno-compromised travelers
- precautions for pregnant travelers
- risks related to water, food, diseases and environmental conditions, and other potential complications
