MEDPREP

Application Process

Admissions for June 2012 entry are CLOSED. Please check back in July 2012 for application information for June 2013 entry.

The deadlines for ALL MATERIALS in order to be considered are as follows:
Admissions Cycle 1: Monday, September 19, 2011
Admissions Cycle 2: Thursday, December 1, 2011
Admissions Cycle 3: Monday, January 9, 2012

All deadlines are for enrollment in the class beginning June 22, 2012. If your file is not complete for one deadline it will automatically be held over for the next deadline. It is to the applicant's advantage to be included in the September group, as he/she will be informed of his/her acceptance decision before the end of the calendar year.

MEDPREP does not engage in the practice of "rolling admissions". We accept a proportional number of students from each application cycle. The Admissions Committee does not meet to consider application files until after each cycle deadline.

In order to be considered for entry into the program, an applicant must be invited to, and attend, Admissions Day at MEDPREP. Admissions Day consists of approximately 6 hours of testing, two interviews, and several information sessions. If an applicant is not invited to or does not attend Admissions Day, the committee will not consider his/her application for entry. Admissions Days are held approximately 7-8 weeks after each deadline.

As part of the MEDPREP application process, you MUST submit a separate OFFICIAL transcript for EVERY school you have attended--even that community college you took one course at. Even if you transferred those credits. EVERY school. Have them mailed to the address below.

Recommendation letters: we require two--and suggest that you request three. In that case, should one not make it here by the deadline, your application could still be considered as we would already have two on file. The recommendation form (which you need to fill out the top section of and give to your recommenders) is available below. You may fill it out by hand or electronically--however you prefer.

Please read all of the following information before submitting an application.
