By providing an exceptional educational environment, we aim to improve the knowledge and skills of our students and residents who participate in these activities.
These pages contain information about each of the areas for which our division has educational responsibilities. For information about the Internal Medicine Clerkship or the Psychiatry Clerkship, please see each individual Departments page or the Office of Education and Curriculum web page.
The section entitled “Electives” contains information for fourth year medical students who may be interested in learning about some of the diverse areas for which medicine-psychiatry can prepare you. The section entitled “Residency” contains information about the Medicine-Psychiatry residency program, including a link to the ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) to apply for our program. “SIU Residents” contains information about the residents’ rotations experiences and expectations: Internal Medicine’s Medicine-Psychiatry, Inpatient Psychiatry and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry.
