Memorial Medical Center of Springfield is a 600 bed facility which is physically attached to the School of Medicine via a sky walk.  This facility is well equipped to handle practically any medical, surgical or psychiatric illness.  In fact, Memorial Medical Center supports our combined inpatient medicine and psychiatry units.  This unit is a type IV medicine-psychiatry unit with offsite cardiac telemetry capabilities.

 

 

St. John's Hospital and the Prairie Heart Institute are a 775 bed facility located just one mile away from the main campus.  This facility specializes in Women's and Children's Medicine and boasts one of the best cardiology centers in the region. 

Both centers are "user friendly" for the residents, being fully staffed with lab, x-ray and nursing personal.
