Neuropathology

Neuropathology is the study of disease of nervous system tissue, usually in the form of either small surgical biopsies or whole autopsy brains. Neuropathology is a subspecialty of anatomic pathology, neurology, and neurosurgery. Dr. Brian E. Moore is the Brain Bank Director at the Center for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders and Associate Professor of Neurology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
