Dr. Vinod N. Alluri has joined the faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of psychiatry, specializing in adult psychiatry.

Alluri recently completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, where he also earned a master’s in public health (2006).  He was on the research faculty at Harlem Hospital Center at Columbia University in New York (2000-01).  He earned his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in India (1997).

He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.

A native of India, Alluri is married to Divya Alluri.
