Dr. Cesar S. Arguelles has joined the faculty of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of family and community medicine at the School’s Decatur Family Practice Center. (UPDATE: Dr. Aguelles is now assistant director of the center.)

Arguelles completed his family practice residency at SIU's Decatur Family Practice Program (1998). He earned his medical degree from the Finch University of Health Science of the Chicago Medical School (1995) and his bachelor's in biology from the University of Washington in Seattle (1990).

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians.

Arguelles and his wife, Rellie, are natives of Iloilo, Philippines.
