SIU Call Center (217-545-8000) Dr. Howard B. Chodash Chodash completed a three-year fellowship in gastroenterology at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago (1995). He completed his internal medicine residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. (1992). He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago (1988) and his bachelor’s degree in physiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1984). Chodash is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine. His memberships include the American Medical Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterologic Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. His research interests include therapeutic biliary endoscopy, the pathogenesis of stent occlusion, gallstone pancreatitis and eosmophilic esophagitis. -30- |
